Alphatron Pedestal
This versatile lightweight camera platform with adjustable air-system provides accurate and effortless camera positioning for small studios and outside broadcasting set-ups. The pedestal column has a low friction vertical stroke, which enables you to make very fluid movements. The pan / rotation is blocked and allows you to use the fluid pan movement of your camera head.
This steady pneumatic supported pedestal with steering wheel and 100 mm bowl, features a load bearing capacity of up to 30 kg (66.9 lbs.) The balance can be easily adjusted by simply pumping in more air.
The provided foldable dolly has collapsible box tubing arms and has been designed to allow for camera positions as low as possible, while the 35cm reach of the pedestal column is maintained. For a higher reach we offer extensions units of 150 and 300mm length and optional cable movers are available to provide ultra-smooth rolling action. The legs of the dolly can be folded, while the pedestal stays mounted.
The package exists of one Alphatron Pedestal column with dolly (including spider) and high pressure hand pump.
